W e l c o m e

Hi, my name is Ford. I have written a book and created this blog to initiate a most enigmatic conversation. A conversation that many of you, like me, have waited a lifetime to have. A conversation that because of various dogmatic features of our society we felt ashamed for exploring. The thoughts and questions were always there, but because of guilt, lack of understanding, and support we have been stifling those questions. Now all of that ends.

Though we are all "One" in a higher conscious self, we have divided ourselves into many for the purposes of exploring various aspects of our own imagination. I encourage "Other Me's" out there to participate in this blog and share your own thoughts on the meaning of life, the nature of consciousness, and your discovery of the true nature of reality.

What is Self-Awareness ?

There is no matter as such. All matter (Atoms, sub-atomic particles, and everything that those things make up) is a supposition of the mind. Every physical thing you know, and non-physical thing (such as a thought form or memory) is a figment of your imagination within the realms of a conscious mind. This mind is divided into three states of rationalization:

The First level of consciousness is The Superconscious. Sometimes called the "Collective Conscious" or "Super Ego", this area is Everything. It is the hard drive, if you will, containing all of the information used to create all that we know. This is why I call it "God". In the Bible, God is said to be the essence of all things.

The Second level of consciousness is The Id. The Id represents nothing or eternal "Lack". This state of consciousness is set in direct opposition to the Superconscious mind of infinite all and abundance. The Id lacks, the Superconscious provides. It is this opposition that creates a stream of conscious thinking.

The Third level of consciousness is the Relative Conscious Mind, more often referred to as "The Ego". This level of consciousness acts both consciously and unconsciously (or Sub-consciously) and moves throughout the stream of consciousness. The job of The Ego is to analyze and interpret this stream of thought that flows from the Super-conscious Mind to the Id by asking, "How is this relative to me?". It does this through experience or "life". It is through life's experiences that we relate to our ideas physically through our bodies (which is a metaphor) as well as emotionally and cognitively.

The only way for "One" (The Relative Conscious Ego whom "you" or "I" has identified as "Me") to feel the full effects of this mechanism of consciousness, is to forget everything we know about the mechanics of the entire stream of consciousness. However, so not to completely forget, we leave clues and reminders for ourselves to aid us in "awakening" out of the conscious mind of the Ego and into the Sub-conscious mind who holds a view and identity of the "Self" as the entire process.

Becoming consciously aware of this mechanism is in fact, this process of "awakening" in which we call "Self-Awareness". By becoming aware of this stream of consciousness, one realizes that who they are extends far beyond the boundaries of the Relative Conscious mind. Furthermore, it is the realization that the Identity "I" expands across a stream of multiple levels of consciousness. It is this realization that many religions and various practices of spirituality have traditionally called Zen, Enlightenment, Christ Consciousness, Kabbalah, etc....

All of this though, hardly defines Self-Awareness. This is because part of becoming Self-Aware is the understanding that, each time we forget and awaken to this process, the conscious system has then evolved into something new. It will do this forever, expanding and growing forever which is why we will forever be in the process of "Becoming God".

Ford,
I am not sure were to begin. I start my journey I think about 2 years ago with "The Secret" I have probably listen to the thing about 80 times. I write in my gratitude book daily and have had many things in my book come to "true"

About two months ago, i watched a discovery channel program about String Theory and Stephen Hawking.

three weeks ago, I picked up the book how to become rich by Wallace Waddles.

Last week I was driving in my car and started thinking about how string theory and how it would impact the law of attraction.

I told my partner that I wanted to start writing a book on the subject and decided I should go online and do some research. I came across your website (which I know now was not a coincidence)

My mind is swimming at everything that I am now being exposed to. I have listened to your (my) book several times now.

The most confusing part is that I wrote this book as you for me. I think about the one thing that I would want to do with this knowledge, and that is to let everyone know(or every part of me) know so all will be enlightened. Is that what you felt?

I have for a while been noticing the "voice- ego" and recognizing that it is not "me", when you hear the voice of doubt about things how do you deal with it?

I am working on what you have been saying about being in control of our life...my views have changed and i am starting to look at myself as the observer in situations. I have found the world and my surroundings much much nicer, thank you!

What book would you suggest in furthering my ascent into enlightenment. I have never wanted to learn about anything so badly.

I am ordering Finding Shrodinger's Cat, and possibly "The Matter Myth", any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you for listening.

I share your vision for "everyone" to become enlightened. The truth is, as long as I "get it" I will continue to move through the multiverse into realities where everyone does get it. This is inevitable because this is my intention. I don't work hard at making sure "others get it", I simply focus on reminding myself. Everything comes to those who wait, including a universe where everyone in my reality is enlightened. I like to say, "My Playground". The more enlightened people to play with the better.

It is interesting that you had these ideas and then discovered the book that "I" had written. The character that I am playing right now is a separate ego and from my perspective there is separation between us. Outside of this reality we are the same being. I guess you could say that your thoughts had to manifest in someway and the easiest way to do that was to "Attract" the character that I am playing into your life for the moment.

These concepts are not new, they are cyclical. They are learned and then forgotten and then learned again continuing on for infinity because: "The grass is always greener..." Though, like you I discovered these concepts all by myself, they are not new ideas at all. Scrutinizing any of the prophets from Buddha, Abraham, Jesus, Muhammed, Maharishi, Ram Dass, and countless others you can see that others have reached this state of enlightenment before. But, I guess enlightenment soon became a bore and we layered dogma on it, so that we would forget so that we could continue to play this came with ourselves forever. Are you having fun yet?

As for further reading.... not to sound cocky, but everything you need to know is in this book. Anything else is just a distraction. Other books are great for confirmation and confidence, but really enlightenment is extremely simple. More information just convolutes it. I did the same thing you are doing now in the beginning. I wanted to read everything I could get me hands on. After a while I learned that there was nothing left to learn. What I needed to do was learn how to apply it. The books were simply my way of procrastinating from doing the work. You have to do the work to experience the enlightenment. The funny thing is, once you start doing the work you start discovering new questions but the cool part is you know how to use your own enlightenment to solve any problem or question. I find myself having these really deep conversations with myself all of the time now and its great.

I will turn you on to a few books that are great companion books: "Be Here Now" by Ram Dass. "Mystical Kabbahla" by Dion Fortune and "The Lines in Red" This is a collection of the redlines in the bible which are the lines spoke by Jesus. These are great works to read to confirm what you already know but to also instill some great application techniques.
